The director, Allen Hughes, crafts a taut atmosphere filled with action sequences and moments of introspection, exploring the duality of hope and hopelessness in a world where humanity has lost its way. The film oscillates between thrilling gunfights and contemplative pauses, inviting viewers to ponder the significance of faith in an otherwise chaotic existence.
