Frances de la Tour is an English actress who won a Tony Award for her stage performances. She portrayed Madame Olympe Maxime in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (2005) and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1 (2010). De la Tour also appeared in The Lady in the Van (2015) and Enola Holmes (2020). Her notable television work includes the role of Miss Ruth Jones in the sitcom Rising Damp, which aired from 1974 to 1978. She has received three Olivier Awards.
