Gary Oldman is an English actor who made his film debut in Remembrance (1982). He gained prominence in British cinema with notable roles such as Sid Vicious in Sid and Nancy (1986) and Joe Orton in Prick Up Your Ears (1987). Oldman portrayed Sirius Black in the Harry Potter series and James Gordon in The Dark Knight Trilogy. His performance as Winston Churchill in Darkest Hour (2017) earned him an Academy Award for Best Actor.
