Matthew Lillard is an American actor who portrayed Stu Macher in the slasher film Scream (1996). He gained early recognition with roles in Serial Mom (1994) and Hackers (1995), and has since appeared in notable films such as SLC Punk! (1998), She's All That (1999), and Thirteen Ghosts (2001). Lillard voices Norville 'Shaggy' Rogers in the Scooby-Doo franchise, starting with the live-action films Scooby-Doo (2002) and Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed (2004). His recent work includes Five Nights at Freddy's (2023) and its sequel, along with roles in The Life of Chuck (2025) and Daredevil: Born Again (2026).
