Gwyneth Paltrow is an American actress who gained widespread recognition for her performance as Viola de Lesseps in Shakespeare in Love (1998). She began her career in the 1990s with notable roles in films such as Se7en (1995) and Sliding Doors (1998). Paltrow transitioned to blockbuster films, portraying Pepper Potts in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, starting with Iron Man (2008) and continuing through to Avengers: Endgame (2019). In addition to her film work, she received a Primetime Emmy Award for her guest role in the series Glee (2010–2011). Paltrow is also the founder of the lifestyle brand Goop and has authored several cookbooks. She won an Academy Award for Best Actress for her role in Shakespeare in Love (1998).
