Zhu Shimao is a Chinese actor who gained prominence for his role as Xu Lingzhang in the film "Wrangler" (1984). He began his career in the film industry after being selected by director Shui Hua for the role of Fu Hailong in "Children of Xisha" (1975). Zhu later joined the August 1st Film Studios, where he developed his craft under the guidance of renowned director Xie Jin. His notable performances include roles in "Doctor Ke Yuhua" (1985), "The Road Is Relentless and Love" (1989), and "The Urgent Blue Whale" (1990). After transitioning to the China Broadcasting Art Troupe in 1990, he also ventured into film and television production. Zhu Shimao's latest project is "The Wild Blade of Strangers" (2024).
