Zhang Jingchu is a Chinese actress known for her role in Peacock (2005). She studied directing at the Central Academy of Drama in Beijing and is fluent in English. Zhang has appeared in notable films such as Seven Swords (2005), Protégé (2007), John Rabe (2008), and Night and Fog (2009). Her performance in Peacock won the Silver Bear at the Berlin International Film Festival. Zhang also starred in Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation (2015) and The Adventurers (2017). In 2005, she was named one of "Asia’s Heroes" by Time magazine.
