Zara Phythian is a former English martial artist and actress who became the first British martial artist inducted into the International Karate & Kickboxing Hall of Fame in 2006. She began her martial arts journey at the age of seven with Shotokan Karate before transitioning to Tae Kwon Do. Phythian appeared in several films, including Doctor Strange (2016), Accident Man: Hitman's Holiday (2022), and The Dark Kingdom (2018). She was married to producer and martial arts instructor Victor Marke, who was also convicted alongside her for serious offenses. In May 2022, she was sentenced to eight years in prison for multiple child sex offenses committed between 2005 and 2008.
