Yoji Matsuda is a Japanese actor who voiced Ashitaka in Princess Mononoke (1997). He began his career at the age of five with the Himawari Theatre Group and made his television debut in the 1974 drama Mother's Suzu. Matsuda gained prominence in the 1983 TBS series Family Game, portraying Shigeyuki Numata. He also lent his voice to the character Shuna in Shuna's Journey (1987) and voiced Jack Dawson in Titanic (1997). In addition to his acting work, he taught acting at Tokyo Animation College in 2006. Matsuda has collaborated with notable directors, including Yukio Ninagawa and Yoji Aoi.
