Yanna McIntosh is a Jamaican-born Canadian actress who received a Gemini Award for her role as Pat Barrows in the 2006 TV movie "Doomstown." She developed her skills at the University of Toronto and the American Repertory Theatre Institute at Harvard University. McIntosh directed students at the National Theatre School and Humber College in productions such as "Macbeth" and "Julius Caesar." In 2011, she became the first recipient of the Toronto Theatre Critics’ Award for Best Actress in a Play for her performance in "Ruined," which also earned her a Dora Mavor Moore Award. She appeared in "Slumberland" (2022) and "The Marsh King's Daughter" (2023).
