Yagna Shetty is a business management graduate who made her acting debut in the Kannada film Ondu Preethiya Kathe in 2007. She gained recognition for her performances in Eddelu Manjunatha and Love Guru, the latter earning her a Filmfare Award - Kannada for Best Supporting Actress. Yagna has appeared in various films, including Sugreeva, Kalla Malla Sulla, and Ulidavaru Kandanthe. In 2016, she played Muthulakshmi, Veerappan's wife, in Killing Veerappan and starred in the socio-drama Vaarasdaara. Her filmography also includes the period action drama Kalathur Gramam released in 2017. Yagna Shetty received a Filmfare Special Award - South for her role in Eddelu Manjunatha.
