Xu Qing is a Chinese actress who made her film debut in Life on a String (1990). She studied at the Beijing Film Academy, graduating in 1992, the same year she received a nomination for the Hundred Flowers Award for Best Actress. Xu portrayed Soong Ching-ling in the historical film The Founding of a Republic (2009) and appeared as the wife of Bruce Willis's character in Looper (2012). She became a contracted artist with Huayi Brothers in 2009. Xu Qing's work includes significant roles in both contemporary and historical films.
