Xosha Roquemore is an American actress who starred as Jo Ann in Precious (2009). She began her acting journey at The Amazing Grace Conservatory during her ninth grade. After completing high school, she moved to New York City, where she graduated from the Tisch program at New York University. Roquemore gained further recognition for her role as Tamra in The Mindy Project, following a guest appearance in its pilot. Additionally, she appeared in a recurring role on Kirstie in 2013. Roquemore will appear in Captain America: Brave New World (2025).
