Winona Ryder is an American actress who made her film debut in Lucas (1986). She gained significant recognition for her role in Tim Burton's Beetlejuice (1988) and continued to rise to fame with performances in Heathers (1989), Edward Scissorhands (1990), and Bram Stoker's Dracula (1992). Ryder received two Academy Award nominations for her roles in Martin Scorsese's The Age of Innocence (1993) and the adaptation of Little Women (1994). After a brief hiatus from film, she returned in Star Trek (2009) and has since starred in the Netflix series Stranger Things (2016–2025), earning nominations for her work. Ryder has also received a Golden Globe Award and was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
