William Zabka is an American actor who played Johnny Lawrence in The Karate Kid (1984) and its sequel, The Karate Kid Part II (1986). He gained further recognition for reprising this role in the Netflix series Cobra Kai (2018-). Zabka's film career began with appearances in the comedies Just One of the Guys (1985) and National Lampoon's European Vacation (1985). He also starred in the CBS series The Equalizer (1986–89) as the title character's son. Zabka wrote and produced the award-winning short film Most (2003), which was nominated for an Academy Award.
