William Ragsdale is an American actor who played Charley Brewster in the horror film Fright Night. He studied religion and humanities at Hendrix College before receiving a graduation gift that allowed him to attend the Drama Studio London’s American school in Berkeley, California. Ragsdale starred in the romantic comedy Mannequin Two: On the Move (1991) and had a prominent role as Herman Brooks in the series Herman's Head. His television credits include guest appearances on shows such as Judging Amy, Ellen, and Justified, where he portrayed Gary Hawkins for 12 episodes. He also appeared in the film The Reaping (2007).
