William Morgan Sheppard was a British actor who appeared in the film The Duellists (1977). He had a prolific career in both film and television, featuring in notable films such as The Elephant Man (1980), Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country (1991), and The Prestige (2006). His television work includes roles in Shōgun (1980), MacGyver (1989-1990), and seaQuest DSV (1993-1994). Sheppard also lent his voice to characters in animated series like Gargoyles (1995-1996) and video games including the Medal of Honor series. He was the father of actor Mark Sheppard.
