Wes Chatham is an American actor who portrayed Amos Burton in the science fiction series The Expanse (2015–2022). He began his acting career at the age of seven with a Tide commercial after being discovered by a casting director. Chatham served in the military as an aviation firefighter before transitioning to acting, with his breakthrough role in Antwone Fisher (2002). He gained further recognition for his performances in In the Valley of Elah (2007) and W. (2008), and starred in the series The Unit (2006-2009). Chatham also appeared in The Help (2011), which won Outstanding Ensemble at the Screen Actors Guild Awards. He is featured in Cross (2024).
