Wataru Hatano is a Japanese voice actor and singer who won the Best Male Rookie Award at the 2nd Seiyu Awards in 2008. He has voiced notable characters such as Gajeel in Fairy Tail (2009) and Yūto Ayase in Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu. In addition to his work in anime, Hatano has contributed his voice to video games, portraying Josuke Higashikata in the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure series and Rufus in the Street Fighter games. He is affiliated with 81 Produce and announced his marriage to fellow voice actress Mai Hashimoto in 2018.
