Waheeda Rehman is an Indian actress who made her film debut in C.I.D. (1956). She has had a prolific career, appearing in a variety of Hindi films as well as in Telugu, Tamil, and Bengali cinema. Some of her notable works include Pyaasa (1957), Chandni (1989), Lamhe (1991), and Rang De Basanti (2006). Throughout her career, she has received numerous accolades, including a National Film Award for Best Actress and a Filmfare Lifetime Achievement Award. Rehman was honored with the Centenary Award for Indian Film Personality.
