Vivek Shauq was an Indian actor, comedian, writer, and singer who appeared in the film Gadar: Ek Prem Katha (2001). He worked across various mediums, including Hindi and Punjabi cinema, television serials, and theatre. His filmography includes notable titles such as Aitraaz (2004), Andaaz (2003), and Humko Tumse Pyaar Hai (2006). In addition to acting, Shauq was a popular writer and singer, and he was a founding member of the Nonsense Club. He was also involved with the Sant Nirankari Mission. Shauq passed away from a heart attack in 2011.
