Vincent Gallo is an American actor, director, producer, screenwriter, singer-songwriter, and painter who wrote, directed, produced, and starred in Buffalo '66 (1998). He has appeared in various independent films, including The Brown Bunny (2003), Arizona Dream (1993), and The Funeral (1996). Gallo has also had minor roles in mainstream cinema, such as Goodfellas (1990). In addition to his film work, he was active in the New York City art scene during the late 1970s and early 1980s. He received the Coppa Volpi for Best Actor at the Venice International Film Festival for his role in Essential Killing (2010).
