Vijender Singh is an Indian professional boxer who won a bronze medal at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, making history as the first Indian boxer to achieve this feat. In addition to his Olympic success, he earned bronze medals at the 2009 World Championships and the 2010 Commonwealth Games, alongside silver medals at the 2006 and 2014 Commonwealth Games in the middleweight category. Besides his boxing career, he has ventured into acting, appearing in the film Fugly (2014).
