Vignesh Shivan is an Indian film director who made his feature film debut with Podaa Podi in 2012. He has collaborated frequently with Silambarasan, Dhanush, and Anirudh Ravichander, and has also directed independent music videos. His second film, Naanum Rowdydhaan, released in 2015, received positive reviews and featured Vijay Sethupathi and Nayantara. Shivan's other works include Velaiyilla Pattathari (2014) and Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal (2022).
