Victoria Yeates is an English actress who portrayed Sister Winifred in the television series Call the Midwife. She earned a degree in acting from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in 2006 and began her career on stage, receiving acclaim for her performances in Noël Coward's Private Lives and Arthur Miller's The Crucible. Yeates appeared in the films Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald and its sequel, Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore. Raised in Bournemouth, she practiced ballet as a child and has a background in theater. In 2016, she became engaged to musician Paul Housden, and they married in June 2018.
