Venkat Prabhu is an Indian filmmaker who directed the summer hit Chennai 600028 (2007). He has worked in various capacities within the Tamil film industry, including acting and playback singing. Following his initial unsuccessful attempts at acting, he transitioned to directing. His notable films include Mankatha (2011), Maanaadu (2021), and Tamizh Padam 2 (2018). Prabhu also directed Let's Get Married (2023) and Custody (2023).
