Varun Dhawan is an Indian actor who made his acting debut in the romantic comedy Student of the Year (2012). He is the son of film director David Dhawan and studied Business Management in England before transitioning to acting. Dhawan gained recognition with his roles in commercially successful films such as Main Tera Hero (2014) and Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania (2014). His notable works include Badlapur (2015), October (2018), and Sui Dhaaga - Made in India (2018). Varun Dhawan received a Filmfare nomination for Best Male Debut for his performance in Student of the Year.
