Vanessa Bell Calloway is an American actress who made her film debut in Number One with a Bullet (1987). She gained recognition for her role as Princess Imani Izzi in the comedy Coming to America (1988) and has appeared in notable films such as What's Love Got to Do with It (1993), The Inkwell (1994), and Crimson Tide (1995). Calloway began her acting career on the soap opera All My Children in 1985 and later featured in various television series, including Equal Justice and Boston Public. In addition to her extensive film and television work, she played Harriet Tubman's mother in the biographical film Harriet (2019). Calloway is a nine-time NAACP Image Award nominee.
