V is a South Korean singer, songwriter, and actor who made his acting debut in the television series "Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth" (2016). As a member of the boy group BTS, he has achieved notable success, including the release of his debut solo mini album, "Layover" (2023), which debuted at number two on the Billboard 200. V has also released self-composed singles such as "Scenery" and "Winter Bear" in 2019. In 2018, he received the fifth-class Hwagwan Order of Cultural Merit, alongside his BTS bandmates. He appears in "BTS: THE RETURN" (2026).
