Ushasie Chakraborty is an Indian actress who portrayed Satyabati in Anjan Dutt's adaptations of Byomkesh Bakshi. She has appeared in several notable films, including Abar Byomesh (2012), Byomkesh Phire Elo (2014), and Byomkesh O Agnibaan (2017). In addition to her film work, Chakraborty played June Guha in the television series Sreemoyee from 2019 to 2021. Aside from her acting career, she is also an academic, having submitted her PhD thesis in 2020 while facing personal challenges. Her academic background includes an MPhil from Jadavpur University, where she focused on bias against female drivers. Chakraborty has collaborated with Anjan Dutt on multiple projects.
