Umesh Mehra is an Indian film director and producer who directed the notable film Aśoka (2001). He gained prominence in the 1980s and 90s, particularly for his work with actor Mithun Chakraborty in films such as Yaar Gaddar and Shikari: The Hunter. Mehra has also collaborated with Akshay Kumar on several projects, including Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi and International Khiladi. His filmography includes titles like Sabse Bada Khiladi (1995) and Yeh Mohabbat Hai (2002). Umesh Mehra is the son of Bollywood producer F.C. Mehra.
