Tyrone Benskin is a prominent Canadian actor who starred as Karl Lubinsky in the cult science fiction series "Charlie Jade". With a career spanning over three decades, he has contributed significantly to theatre, film, and television. His extensive filmography includes notable works such as "300" (2006), the Bob Dylan biopic "I'm Not There" (2007), and the civil rights drama "Deacons for Defense" (2006). Benskin has also appeared in the TV movie "Mind over Murder" (2005) and the Christmas film "The Christmas Choir" (2008). In addition to his acting career, he served as the Artistic Director of Black Theatre Workshop and was elected to the 41st Parliament of Canada, where he held various positions including Official Opposition Critic for Canadian Heritage.
