Tuba Büyüküstün is the first Turkish actress to win an international award for best actress at the International Television Festival of the Republic of Serbia and Montenegro for her role in the film 'Gulizar'. She gained recognition in Arab countries for her character 'Lamiss' in the series 'Ihlamular Altinda' ('Lost Years'), which led to the creation of a perfume bearing her name. Tuba starred as 'Asiye' in the TV series 'Asi', which was nominated for 'Best Soap Opera' at the 51 Monte Carlo Television Festival. She also received a nomination for best actress at the 42nd International Emmy Awards for her performance in '20 Minutes'. Tuba played Mara Hatun in 'Rise of Empires: Ottoman' (2020).
