Tricia O'Neil is an American actress who made her film debut in 'The Legend of Nigger Charley' (1972). She appeared in 'The Gumball Rally' (1976), 'Piranha II: The Spawning' (1982), and 'Titanic' (1997). O'Neil had guest roles on television series such as 'Columbo,' 'Murder, She Wrote,' and 'Star Trek: The Next Generation,' where she portrayed Captain Rachel Garrett, the first female captain of the U.S.S. Enterprise. She began her career as a singer and made her Broadway debut in the musical 'Two by Two.' O'Neil retired from screen acting in 2001.
