Tracy Letts is an American actor and playwright who won the Pulitzer Prize for Drama for his play August: Osage County (2007). He began his career at the Steppenwolf Theatre and made his Broadway acting debut in the revival of Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? (2013), earning a Tony Award for Best Actor in a Play. Letts has appeared in films such as Lady Bird (2017), Ford v Ferrari (2019), and The Big Short (2015). His television credits include Andrew Lockhart in Homeland and Nick in Divorce. He was nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award for his role in Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty (2022–2023). Letts adapted his play Bug into a film, directed by William Friedkin.
