Tracey Ullman is a British-American actress, singer, dancer, screenwriter, director, and producer who began her career in the British soap opera Mackenzie (1980), portraying Lisa Mackenzie. She gained recognition for her role in the BAFTA-winning sketch comedy Three of a Kind (1981–1983) and starred in The Tracey Ullman Show (1987–1990), which introduced The Simpsons (1989–present). Ullman has also produced programs for HBO, including Tracey Takes On... (1996–1999), and received multiple awards for her work. She has appeared in films like Plenty (1985), earning a BAFTA nomination for Best Supporting Actress. Ullman has won seven Primetime Emmy Awards and a Golden Globe Award.
