Tony Orlando is an American show business professional who gained fame as the lead singer of the group Tony Orlando and Dawn in the early 1970s. He first reached the charts at the age of 16 with hits like "Halfway to Paradise" and "Bless You". After becoming a producer and vice-president at CBS Records, he formed the group which produced major hits such as "Candida" and "Tie a Yellow Ribbon Round the Ole Oak Tree". Orlando also hosted "The Tony Orlando and Dawn Show" on CBS from 1974 to 1976. He appeared in the film "That's My Boy" in 2012.
