Tony Gardner is an American makeup designer and special effects artist who created the signature helmets for Daft Punk. He has worked on numerous films, including Zombieland (2009), 127 Hours (2010), and Hairspray (2007). Gardner contributed to the film Seed of Chucky (2004) with his expertise in makeup and effects. He directed Daft Punk's music video for "The Prime Time of Your Life" and was involved in their feature film, Daft Punk's Electroma. Additionally, his company, Alterian, Inc., designed the GEICO Cavemen characters and Smokey Bear. Gardner's work has significantly impacted both film and advertising.
