Tommy Lister Jr. was a character actor who portrayed Deebo in the Friday film series. He had a brief wrestling career, famously facing Hulk Hogan as 'Zeus' in No Holds Barred (1989). Lister made notable guest appearances on television, including as Klaang in the pilot of Star Trek: Enterprise and as Mr. Matlock's bodyguard in Matlock. His film credits include Universal Soldier (1992) and a role in Austin Powers in Goldmember (2002). Lister also appeared in music videos, such as Sublime's 'Santeria' and Michael Jackson's 'Remember the Time'. He was blind in his right eye.
