Tom Everett Scott is an American actor who starred as drummer Guy Patterson in That Thing You Do! (1996). He has appeared in various films, including notable roles in Boiler Room (2000), An American Werewolf in Paris, and La La Land. His television credits include Detective Russell Clarke in Southland and recurring roles in ER and 13 Reasons Why. Scott also featured in the films Finding You (2021) and Clouds. He played a significant role in the series Z Nation as Charles Garnett.
