Humberto "Tito" Larriva is a Mexican/American songwriter, singer, musician, and actor who made his film debut in 1995 with Desperado. He grew up in Fairbanks, Alaska, and El Paso, Texas, where he developed his musical talents by playing the violin and singing in choirs. After a brief stint at Yale University, he relocated to Mexico City before eventually moving to Los Angeles. Larriva has continued to engage with both music and film throughout his career, and he currently resides in Austin, Texas.
