Ronald "Tiny Ron" Taylor was a former basketball player and an American film actor whose notable work includes his role as a villain in The Rocketeer (1991). He appeared in Ace Ventura: Pet Detective (1994) and had significant roles in television series such as Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and Star Trek: Voyager. Taylor stood at 7 feet (2.13 m), which often defined the characters he portrayed. He also played Al, the very tall police detective, in the Police Squad! and The Naked Gun series.
