Tina Fey is an American actress and comedian who adapted the screenplay for Mean Girls (2004), in which she also starred. She gained prominence as a writer and performer on NBC's Saturday Night Live (1997–2006) and created the series 30 Rock (2006–2013), drawing from her SNL experiences. Fey has appeared in notable films such as Baby Mama (2008), Date Night (2010), and the animated Megamind (2010). Her work has earned her eight Emmy Awards and two Golden Globe Awards. In 2010, she received the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor, becoming the youngest recipient of this honor.
