Timothy Olyphant is an American actor who made his film debut in Scream 2 (1997). He gained significant recognition for his role as Sheriff Seth Bullock in HBO's Deadwood (2004–2006), later reprising the character in Deadwood: The Movie (2019). Olyphant has appeared in various films, including Hitman (2007), A Perfect Getaway (2009), and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood (2019). His television credits also include a starring role in FX's Justified (2010–2015), for which he received an Emmy nomination. Additionally, he has won a Critics' Choice Award for his work in The Grinder (2015–2016). Olyphant will star in the FX series Alien: Earth (2025).
