Tim Minchin is an Australian musician, actor, comedian, and writer who gained prominence with his breakout show Darkside. He began his career in 2005 at the Butterfly Club in South Melbourne and won the Director’s Award at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival. Minchin achieved significant recognition at the Edinburgh Fringe, winning the Perrier Award for Best Newcomer. His performances often include musical elements and cover various themes, including environmentalism and prejudice. He has appeared on television shows such as Good News Week and Friday Night with Jonathan Ross. Minchin contributed his voice to the animated film Back to the Outback (2021).
