Tim Mertens

Tim Mertens is a filmmaker who served as Supervising Editor on *Tangled* (2010). He began his career at Disney TV Animation in 1990 after studying at Weber State University and transitioned to Disney Feature Animation in 1994. Mertens worked on notable films such as *Pocahontas* (1995), *Tarzan* (1999), *Bolt* (2008), and *Big Hero 6* (2014). His first project at Disney was as an Assistant Editor on *Pocahontas*, and he later played a significant role in the editing of *Tangled*. In 1994, he received an Emmy Award for sound editing on the Nickelodeon series *Rocko’s Modern Life*.
