Tim Allen is an American actor and comedian who voiced Buzz Lightyear in the Toy Story franchise, starting with Toy Story in 1995. He gained fame for his role as Tim "The Toolman" Taylor on the sitcom Home Improvement, which aired from 1991 to 1999 and earned him a Golden Globe Award. Allen also portrayed Scott Calvin and Santa Claus in The Santa Clause series, beginning in 1994. His filmography includes notable works such as Galaxy Quest (1999), Jungle 2 Jungle (1997), and Christmas with the Kranks (2004). He played Mike Baxter on the sitcom Last Man Standing from 2011 to 2021. Allen received an Annie Award for his performance in the Toy Story series.
