Thomas M. Wright is an Australian actor, writer, film director, and producer who co-founded the theatre company Black Lung in 2006. He gained recognition for his performance in Jane Campion's series Top of the Lake, earning a nomination for Best Supporting Actor at the Critics' Choice Awards. Wright directed the feature film Acute Misfortune in 2019 and the thriller The Stranger, which premiered at the Cannes Film Festival. He is also set to appear in Sleeping Dogs, scheduled for release in 2024.
