Thomas Brodie-Sangster is an English actor who played Newt in the Maze Runner film series, which includes The Maze Runner (2014), Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials (2015), and Maze Runner: The Death Cure (2018). He gained recognition for his performances in Love Actually (2003) as Sam and in Nanny McPhee (2005) as Simon. Brodie-Sangster also portrayed Jojen Reed in Game of Thrones (2013–2014) and Benny Watts in The Queen's Gambit (2020), earning a Primetime Emmy Award nomination for the latter.
