Tess Harper is an American actress who received a Golden Globe nomination for her debut film role in Tender Mercies (1983). She was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her performance in Crimes of the Heart (1986). Harper's notable film credits include Ishtar (1987), Flashpoint (1984), and No Country for Old Men (2007). In addition to her film work, she had a recurring role in the first three seasons of the series Breaking Bad (2008–2010). Harper appeared in El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie (2019), further connecting her to the Breaking Bad universe.
